Cable Design Hat

A comfortable and relaxed fitting hat design featuring a neat ribbed cable pattern which can be knit in the round or knit flat

Requires :  1 x 50g Ball Shades of Weardale Merino 4ply Yarn,  1 x 2.75mm(UK12  -US2) and 1 x 3.25mm(UK10 -USA 3) 40cm circular knitting needles(in the round version) or straight needles for knit flat version

Size when finished :  To fit average ladies head (approx 51cm(20in) x 21.50cm(8 1/2in) without stretch

Difficulty :  Intermediate - knowledge of basic cable stitches, simple shaping.  Instructions for ‘knitting in the round’ and ‘knit flat’(back page)
